PUMA Ventis passes test with flying colours

We put the PUMA Complete Ventis through its paces with a combination of both indoor and outdoor testing, which considering the recent UK weather proved a more than adequate testing ground.

Indoor Vs Outdoor

Indoor, the Ventis with its padded EverFoam lining, provides a snug fit at both the heel and toe, whilst the ventilation of the shoe allows the foot to breathe – despite the padding. They pounded the treadmill with considerable ease and a mature composure (unlike the wearer).

The Ventis is predominately a running shoe, which means it is fairly narrow at the tip, but it has an air of cross-trainer about it.  The soul is chunky enough to provide cushioning and support for a slightly rougher terrain than your average road or footpath but doesn’t feel like you are walking on the moon when running on the treadmill either.

Style

We tested out a great pair in electric blue and silver but the Ventis is available in plenty of colour combinations for both men and women. They turned heads both in the gym and on the road, so if you like to go about your business at the gym and out and about quietly and discretely then maybe a more subtle colour might be a better choice for you – but at Fitness TV we love them!

Trainer technology is fierce competition these days and the usual suspects for your running needs are obvious, but PUMA has really upped its game with the Ventis and simply put – has to be considered for the beginner through to the serious competitive runner. Combining stability with style, this is a top performance shoe that is ready to rumble whenever you are.
