I have piled on the pounds lately and really need to shift them, i used weight watchers years ago and went to the gym everyday but my circumstances have changed and can no longer afford weight loss groups and gym fees so im wondering if anyone can recommend a good diet that will help me loose weight and get back on track with healthy eating.

I wouldnt recommend any "diet" as such. idont believe that any 'diet' is good and that ultimately they dont really work.
I became a mum just over a year ago and at 5'2" weighed 11 stone..a bit of a porker! i now weigh 9st 13....so not at my ideal weight but getting there.
If you begin to investigate weight loss you will discover that there are so many people out there trying to sell you the answer..they all have it and promise it will work!! it gets very very confusing...well it did for me. I would suggest just to make it simple.
Move more, eat less. Be honest with yourself about what you are eating and how much activity you are doing. i know its difficult if you have a child or not much money, but it doesnt have to be expensive...there are any number of dvds for exercise (or dance) and plenty on fitness tv!. I would recommend paul mckennas i can make you thin...go to your local library and borrow it..its free!

Hi i have started to watch what i eat and im sky plusing some stuff off fitness tv but got to admit ive been bad the last couple of days as my little man hasn't been sleeping well so ive been like a zombie, back on track tomorrow i hope lol someone at the school asked me if i was pregnant the other day woops must be bigger than i thought.
hey i hope you are not giving yourself a hard time just because you had a couple of bad days...be kind to yourself. i know exactly how tough it is when your little one is not sleeping and would just live off cheese sandwiches!!
No im not i no it's just one of those things, im going to have some long walks with the children over the weekend we have some really nice walking spots round hear. Hope you have a good weekend.

ive jst started doing exercises from fittness tv today and am just wondering were to get advice on some healthy eating recippies i need some tips as i indulged a bit during my pregnency and now that ive had my post natel cheeck i want 2 start shiffting the lbs any tips welcome plzzzz help xx

All i have been dong so far is trying to get my 5 aday in and cutting out treats like choc and crisps ive stopped adding sugar to things and generally just trying to eat more healthy and choosing low fat options, I could do with some nice healthy recipes that i can cook for family meals maybe what we should do is when we find something thats good is post it on hear for everyone to see ? not sure if someone else has already done this.
