I am getting married next year and I'd like to improve my diet and physique for the big day. I know I have the worst diet ever as I tend to miss Breakfast and Lunch then stuff my face with frozen foods/rubbish for Tea and Supper. I used to be really active as a teenager even representing my county at cross-country running however I barely exercise now. I have never needed to lose weight before and now it's starting to catch up with me. I tend to avoid the healthier food options as 1) they are more expensive 2) don't taste as nice 3) usually take longer to prepare. I tend not to exercise either as I am physically and mentally knackered (often falling asleep on the settee) when I get home from work - I work in a secondary special needs school while also doing a night time degree at my local University.
I am not keen on acidic fruits and tend to just eat the odd banana. Helpful suggesstions welcome regarding diet/exercise.
hi,
im the same as you, im going to ibiza next summer with my ifance first holiday together since our girl was born so really looking forward to it although even looking at a bikini makes me want to cancel it.
i am a fulltime mum so ive found the best way for my routine is to set my alarm clock half and hour before caitlyn gets up and make myself some cereal even if i dont feel like it so im not stuffing my face at night with chocolate, just try to take half an hor out of your busy day to look at what your eating and think to yourself if its healthy for your body or not , i find a cold chicken salad for lunch is ideal, quick to make if your on the go all the time aswell. what you could do is make the lunch up the lunch up the night before so yuor not worrying about it. also IF you have a big enough back garden why not grow your own lettuce tomatoes etc...alot more cheaper instead of a shop .
ive learnt how to give myself the right amount of food at dinner time so im not eatin too much and i cook the exact amount so i cant go up for seconds
with the exercise i have sky plus so i record the programes during the day and then when i have half an hour to myself when she is sleeping i would do my workout then, im always lazy and its my partner who motivates me to get up and try at least half an hour , mayb a cup of coffee will make you less sleepy if it works lol, or even go for a nice night walk , the faster you walk even better and your gettin cold fresh air so it wakens you up aswll
i really hope this helps and just remember yuo need to take some time to yourself to relax and good luck for the wedding next year
kirsty x
