Hi Impact Aerobics

WOW! I've just done the Hi Impact Aerobics with Elise Lindsay after 4 weeks of doing the Big Workout i thought i would try something with a bit more impact, well what can i say the footwork can get a little confusing but my god i am certainly glowing and feel great. Right i'm off for a well deserved soak in the bath then taking my dog out for a long walk, just think of all the calories that will be burnt by the end of the day! - THANK YOU FITNESS TV and THE BIG WORKOUT you've really made me believe that i can lose the weight that i've been trying to get rid of for the past 10 years xxx

An awesome workout, and an awesome feeling once you get through it in one piece, isn't it? It took me a few attempts, and the loss of a few stones to be able to do it properly!

This was one of my favourite workouts pre-BW, but since I don't have Sky+, I won't be able to do it again until BW finishes, and normal programming is resumed :(

It's lovely to hear other people who are also feeling so positive about themselves, all because of FTV, BW and Elise :) I really feed off it xxxxx

It is a brilliant workout and yes you really do feel awesome at the end, i will give it another go today hopefully it should be a little easier knowing some of the routine now.

I really am feeling great and i'm loving every minute of it. This probably sounds silly but once i've done one workout i feel like doing another i'm so motivated it's great, last night i was bored and really felt like doing a workout so i did a 20 mins cardio workout and felt so much more at ease and slept really well.

There are so many positive things coming out of all this exercise and healthy eating i really don't know why i struggled to get motivated before.

Thank you for the comment from yourself, it's really made my day to know you are keeping tabs on the forums to make sure were all still working hard.

Thank you again for all the motivation you have given us during the workouts on fitness tv. 

I'm currently size 16 BUT have been working out for the last 6 weeks and i'm already able to fit into some size 14 trousers, my ultimate aim at the moment is to get to size 12 by May ready for my holiday in Spain, however if i can get to a small size 14 by the time we go away that will do just fine and i will just keep aiming for that size 12 by the summer. 

I'm getting married in Cuba next year and i am going to be size 12 before i go.

OMG! 

I too, did the high impact aerobics with Elise.  And it was great!!   I finished Big Workout and lost 10 pounds in 6 weeks (with weightwatchers too!) I am now a little closer to getting a size 12 dress for a wedding in August - Am so motivated!!

I really found the high impact with Elise show very difficult to follow, it is such a step up from the BW.  Is there anything like it, but for beginners, i love the intensity and speed, but the steps freak me out a bit!!??  (and as it is half term , the kids were tripping over me and laughing too!! - why are you red mummy!!) Anyway, last question.  I need to work on my tummy, and want to continue focusing on them, is there anything on ftv which is core specific??  I do body pump at the gym every wed, and want to continue 5 sssions of excercise a week using ftv as a top up.

This forum is such an inspiration for us to acheive our dreams - keep at is girls!!

Hi clare, thats good going" well done! I need something for my stomach too but not sure if its capable of toning up, serious case of mummy tummy, prob need surgery to fix that but no way am i doing that!lol

Well done your doing really well.

I don't know if you've tried the Combact Cardio for your tummy, i do this one a couple of times a week and is very good for your tummy/abs the footwork can be a little confusing but once you've done it a couple of times your find that it comes naturally, it's fairly fast paced and defo makes you glow. Let us know how you get.

Im on week 2 of the Big Workout and fancied something a bit more exerting.  After recommending my friend to the channel,she told me about the Hi Impact Aerobics so I gave it a go tonight.  Boy, did it get my heart racing, I was positively purple!  However, Im feeling fantastic and so revitalise after the workout.

Im loving it!
