hi does anyone know where i can find out how many cals im meant to be eating?am not dieting as such at the moment but havent lost alot either so think im still eating too much?
thnx
hi,
It depends on the level of your activity on a day. I know of an article but I couldn't find it now. Once I find, I'll let you know.
General rule of thumb is eat less of low activity days and eat normal on regular days and eat every 2-3 hours.
Im trying to loose weight at the moment and I am only eating 1400 cals a day! I started a two week kick start where I only ate 1200 and it is working quiet well as I have just lost over half a stone!
Mind you, I really do miss fatty foods!
Hi there,
I know the recommended daily calories for someone not losing weight/maintaining is 2000 calories a day. Years ago I used to go for 1000 calories a day and lose weight, but that is more difficult to do now I'm older. I've had more success with SlimmingWorld which doesn't restrict the calories.
Good luck with it all. Ju :D
Hi all,
Google do a calorie counter where you put in your age, weight, activity level and it works out your recommended calorie intake, then you can input your food and it will calculate the calories for each meal and snack. Very easy to use, I would recommend it to anyone.
Good luck.
